Anuranjita Kumar joins RBS International
Noted HR professional, Anuranjita Kumar has joined RBS International. She was leading as Managing Director & Chief Human Resources Officer, South Asia at Citi from 2012. Prior to this, she worked across Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and USA.
People Matters approached Anuranjita for her exclusive comments but she declined to give her quote on the development.
Anuranjita kicked –off her career with Procter & Gamble in 1994 and joined Citi in 1995. During her exceptional journey in the world of HR, she has held a variety of roles including Senior HR Generalist for Corporate and Investment Banking, Staffing and Development manager. Anuranjita was the first South Asian and woman leader to be appointed as Head of HR, Global Banking EMEA In 2007. Also , Anuranjita is the first woman management committee member at Citi India. All this challenging roles led Anuranjita to be recognized as an ‘Upcoming South Asia Leadership Talent' by Asia Networks.
For her excellent contribution in field of HR , she was honored as ‘Most Powerful HR Professionals of India', by the World HRD Congress in 2012 and amongst the ‘Most Powerful Woman Leaders' by Fortune in 2013. Anuranjita has done Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human resource development from XLRI. Anuranjita during all these years have worked relentlessly towards developing and executing commercially viable HR strategies and developing global talent .
