Hyderabad-headquartered SaaS financial technology company Zaggle on Friday named Paromita Deb Areng as its Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO).

In her previous role, Paromita was Group Lead– HR at pharamecuticals company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where she anchored the HR agenda for global corporate functions across India, the US, Europe, Russia and CISR countries.

Paromita, who holds an engineering degree, followed by an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, will design and implement Zaggle’s people strategy, spearheading key initiatives such as organisational work culture and talent management.

Zaggle, which is digitizing business spends of corporate entities to drive growth and unlock value through innovative and automated workflows, plans to increase its workforce to 1,000 by 2023, from its current headcount of 350. The company aims to hire professionals across several disciplines such as data scientists, business development, sales, and product tech as part of its strategy to build innovative solutions for corporate spends, while also meeting the needs of SMEs and startups.
