Ronald McDonald House CEO Musolino to step down

Sheila Musolino, the President and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities, announced this week that she will retire in December 2020. Musolino, who joined the global non-profit as its Chief Operating Officer in 2013 and took on the position of CEO in 2015, spent her tenure expanding the charity's network and infrastructure.

Prior to joining RMHC, Musolino spent 30 years, the majority of her career, at McDonald's Corporation, serving in a range of supply chain roles including, most recently, Vice President, US Supply Chain.

It has been my great honor to serve an organization that is deeply committed to serving children and families at a time when they truly need it most,” Musolino said of her work with RMHC. “Our dedicated staff, volunteers and community partners around the world are working to advance the RMHC mission each and every day, ultimately reducing the stress and financial burden families must face when they have a sick child. I am proud and honored to have been a part of such an impactful organization.”

She will be succeeded as both President and CEO by Kelly Dolan, who is currently the Chief Marketing & Development Officer of RMHC. Dolan, who joined RMHC in 2017, brings over 30 years of non-profit management and fundraising experience to her new role. She has served as Executive Director for for two global health organizations, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Georgia and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Greater Atlanta Affiliate, and also for The Atlanta Women’s Foundation.

Dolan will officially assume the roles on December 8, 2020. In the interim months, she and Musolino will focus on ensuring a smooth transition.
