StorCentric taps John P. Coughlan as Chief Financial Officer
StorCentric, a US based data management solutions platform last week announced the appointment of John P. Coughlan as Chief Financial Officer. He takes over from Rob Eggers, who stepped down for personal reasons. In his new role, Coughlan will be reporting to Mihir Shah, Chief Executive Officer, StorCentric.
Excited on joining the StorCentric team, Coughlan revealed his key focus will be on augmenting data protection and management space. He will further assist the team in idea creation, building and execution of strategies to boost revenue generation across all segments and arenas of the platform. Coughlan, with his extensive experience in the field will also ensure delivery of efficient services to customers and clients along with long term ROI.
Coughlan, a finance and management executive with almost three decades of experience, previously worked at Core BTS as Chief Financial Officer. He managed the finance team and aided the company in achieving $200 million revenue. He has been delivering his expertise to a number of companies including, Penthera Partners Inc., Insight Communications, Morgan Stanley, Cambridge Associates, New England Mining and Metals Inc., and Goldman Sachs.
Congratulating Coughlan on the recent appointment, Shah called him the right fit for the said role. “His demonstrated vision and foresight, big picture thinking and results-oriented mindset will be crucial in synergizing our business and finance strategies," Shah said.
Former Chief Financial Officer, Rob Eggers will continue to deliver services as a consultant, throughout the transition process.
