Workday gets Ex-President of Dell EMC as CEO for APAC

Before joining Workday, he was working with Dell EMC as the President for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He worked with Dell for fourteen years.
Workday gets Ex-President of Dell EMC as CEO for APAC

On‑demand financial management and human capital management software vendor company, Workday has appointed David Webster as their President for APAC and Japan. 

Commenting on David’s appointment, Chano Fernandez, Co-President, Workday said, “We are delighted to have David on board to spearhead our operations in the Asia Pacific and Japan as the region is a key market for growth. He brings over 20 years of industry experience and a solid track record in leading and transforming businesses,”

Before joining Workday, he was working with Dell EMC as the President for the Asia Pacific and Japan region. He worked with Dell for fourteen years. The industry veteran has also worked with PeopleSoft as Vice President and Managing Director. 

 Currently, Workday has a strong presence in Australia, and it can be understood that the company is betting big in the APAC and Japan market with David’s appointment. The company has around 200 employees in the APJ region and it’s consolidating its footprint.
