YSC Consulting names Steve van Zuylen as Head of Global Markets

YSC Consulting, a global leadership strategy firm, announced a restructuring of its business to streamline, operate and expand as one global enterprise. The firm will align its operations under four inter-reliant entities: UK/EMEA and North America will continue as geographical regions, the Private Equity specialty practice will reach across all geographies and the newly established Global Markets will address the similar challenges and opportunities of growth markets.

Steve van Zuylen has been named Head of Global Markets, which will include Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Singapore, and South Africa. Steve originally joined YSC nine years ago to set up the firm’s Latin America operation. Since then, he has had numerous roles within the firm, including being YSC’s Chief People Officer, responsible for the offices in Mexico, Brazil and Spain, and leading some of the firm’s most iconic client relationships.

“As we restructured the business, it became clear that Steve’s instincts and expertise were well suited for the unique leadership challenges our clients are facing across their global businesses,” said Eric Pliner, CEO of YSC. “Our new structure reflects our growth strategy in action and where we want to take YSC in the future, and I’m excited about the opportunity and clarity of purpose this reorganization will give us.”

Steve will join Eric on YSC’s Global Leadership Team, which also includes Sam Gilpin, Head of EMEA;  Tessa Breslin, Head of the Americas;  Rosanna Trasatti, Global Head of Private Equity; Rob Morris, Chief Innovation Officer; Edwina McDowall, Chief Operating Officer; and Nik Holgate, Chief Financial Officer.
