Elon Musk fires sales employees after they committed to Twitter 2.0

Even after committing to CEO Elon Musk’s new Twitter vision, employees are being fired. The billionaire bought Twitter for about $44 billion last month.

Ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter for about $44 billion, he has been firing employees. The billionaire recently gave an ultimatum to the remaining ones to pledge to work under his new hardcore work culture or get out. 

However, it seems like even committing to Twitter 2.0 won’t save employees from getting laid off. Most recently, CEO Musk terminated employees in sales after they had signed to Musk’s vision.  

According to media reports, one employee said he found out earlier on Monday that he had been laid off and was told in an email that his role was no longer necessary.

Twitter Blue upgraded subscription service

Currently, Elon Musk is holding the launch of the Twitter Blue upgraded subscription service. “Holding off the relaunch of Blue Verified until there is high confidence of stopping impersonation. Will probably use different colour check for organisations than individuals,” Elon Musk revealed via Tweet.
