Gable raises $16 million to help remote workers connect and collaborate
Gable, a company that helps remote employees work together from anywhere, has secured $16 million in funding. The funding round was co-led by SemperVirens and Foundation Capital, with participation from Tishman Speyer Ventures, Ulu Ventures, and January Ventures.
According to a recent McKinsey survey, nearly 100 million US workers now have the option to work remotely. However, while many employees desire greater workplace flexibility, burnout, disconnection, and disengagement are becoming increasingly common. A Deloitte survey found that workplace flexibility was a top reason for employees switching jobs.
“Most employees want flexibility, but they also crave the ability to meet with coworkers and connect,” said Liza Mash Levin, co-founder and CEO of Gable. “Unfortunately, companies often struggle to provide workspaces across locations, manage budgets, and gain insight into how spaces are being utilized. That's where Gable comes in.”
Gable has devised a unique framework that allows employees to search and book thousands of available workspaces within a predetermined budget.
With this new funding, Gable is well-positioned to help even more remote workers connect and collaborate, no matter where they are located, according to a company statement.
