Conversation AI company Uniphore has announced its Series E funding round of $400 million. The funding round was led by NEA, March Capital and other existing Uniphore investors also participated in this funding round.  

Along with the funding, Uniphore also named NEA’s Venture Partner Hilarie Koplow-McAdams as a new member of the Chennai based company’s board. The news comes in the latest line of appointments made with Balaji Raghavan hired as Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Dahlkemper as Chief People Officer, and Vinod Muthukrishnan as Senior Vice President, Developer Platforms.

The latest funding round, which brings Uniphore’s total funding to more than half a billion ($610 million), will be used to extend Uniphore’s technology and market leadership with advancements in voice AI, computer vision and tonal vision.

The company would also be expanding its hiring base and business operations globally especially in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
