AkzoNobel’s India HR Head Anushree Singh takes on a global role

AkzoNobel India has promoted Anushree Singh, HR Head for the India sub-continent to Global Project Manager for Employer Value Proposition (EVP).

Effective April 1, 2022, Anushree Singh will start working closely with AkzoNobel’s Executive Committee members and Global HR Leadership Team.

Rajiv Rajgopal, Managing Director, AkzoNobel India said, “I am confident that in her new role too, Anushree will be a champion for positive change and contribute to the organisation at a larger scale.”

Anushree joined AkzoNobel in 2019 as the Head of Human Resources for the India Sub-continent. She has led key initiatives at the firm in the time of uncertainties, including new employee-oriented policies (such as returnee mother program, lateral hiring etc.) and prioritising employee and their family’s physical & mental health and well-being. She has also been focusing on increasing diversity & inclusion across all business functions.

The great reshuffle is far from over, as the recent Mircosoft report highlighted. Organisations need to relook at their employee value propositions, identify what people value most and then redraft and relaunch them as per their needs.

Anushree Singh said, “The EVP will be a strategic tool to further provide AkzoNobel with a competitive advantage and ensure that our diverse talent continue to grow, innovate and thrive.”
