An announcement which adds another name to the list of Indian CEOs of American companies, Cornerstone OnDemand this week appointed Himanshu Palsule as the new Chief Executive Officer. The cloud-based talent management company backed by Clearlake Capital Group also announced that Palsule would join the Board of Directors as a member. 

Behdad Eghbali, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Clearlake commented on the appointment, “We are excited to welcome Himanshu to the Cornerstone executive team. Himanshu is an experienced software industry leader who brings leadership at scale to the Company, including most recently at Epicor Software where he was responsible for driving growth through product innovation and customer success while simultaneously executing on a buy-and-build strategy,”. 

Boasting a deep industry knowledge of shaping new markets, Palsule has over 35 years of experience leading product, technology, and marketing organizations with a focus on driving growth and customer value. Prior to joining Cornerstone, he served as President of Epicor Software. He was also a member of the Board of Directors at Channel Advisors and Calabrio and headlined Sage Technologies’s initiatives as the Chief Technical Officer and Head of Strategy.
