Multinational food company Mars Wrigley has announced the appointment of Meghal Sheth as Chief Financial Officer for India. He will report to Kalpesh Parmar, General Manager (GM), Mars Wrigley, India.

In his new role as the CFO, Meghal Seth will utilise his expertise in managing volatile markets to open more avenues for the 111-year-old brand.

Meghal has been a seasoned leader in the FMCG industry since 2001. He started his career with Unilever where he worked in various capacities for thirteen years and rose to the position of Finance Director for APAC, Middle East, Africa, North America & UK& I. He then joined the erstwhile Wrigley India in 2015 as its Chief Financial Officer and spearheaded the seamless integration of the chocolate and confectionery businesses in India following the global merger with Mars.

During his Wrigley India CFO tenure, he co-piloted the management team toward building a strong portfolio of products. He also played multiple roles at the company such as interim General Manager (GM), Integration & Transformation Director and Regional Finance Director while stabilising the Indian market, ensuring delivery of business-as-usual during the time of transition into Mars Wrigley Confectionery.
