Shannon Shuemake named as ING’s Global Head of Talent and Learning

Shannon Shuemake named as ING’s  Global Head of Talent and Learning

ING has named Shannon Shuemake as its Global Head of Talent and Learning, the Dutch  banking group’s  CHRO Ruth McGill announced on Friday. 

In a LinkedIn post,  McGill  informed that Shuemake would start at the bank on March 1. 

In her previous role,  Shuemake was the Group Head of Culture & Engagement at the London Stock Exchange Group. 

Shuemake has over twenty years of experience in the industry. She started her career as an associate at ICF, where she worked for about 4 years. She has in the past worked at Victim Support,Sthree, GEICO, CEB and Refinitiv Global, which was acquired by LSEG in February 2021.

Shuemake  sees herself as a specialist in shaping the talent agenda to drive business strategy and accelerate significant organisational transitions (including M&A, divestiture and rapid scale-up). She is also skilled across the disciplines of talent management, leadership development, learning, diversity & inclusion, performance management and employee engagement.
