Climbing the career ladder? These employers will invest in you, says LinkedIn

Skills are evolving fast. Are you working for a company that’s betting on your growth?
Eager to learn new skills and grow your career? In the next five years, the competencies that are useful and bankable today are expected to change by as much as 70%, according to data from LinkedIn. This will likely render some jobs obsolete, if not entirely redundant.
The risk of obsolescence in the age of AI is prompting professionals across Southeast Asia, particularly in Singapore, to explore new skills and career growth opportunities at work.
In fact, 3 in every 5 workers in the Lion City are considering changing roles or industries this year, with many specifically looking for employers who are invested in their employees’ skills and careers.
“As jobseekers strive to stay ahead, it’s no longer just about finding a job – it will be increasingly important to find a workplace that fuels continuous learning and long-term growth,” researchers from LinkedIn pointed out.
In line with this, the professional networking site released the fifth edition of its Top Companies list, which includes employers from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia who are betting big on talent development.
