Microsoft to reopen select US facilities fully
Tech giant Microsoft has announced that it will fully reopen some selected US facilities as the company hits the sixth and final stage of its hybrid workplace model.
In a report carried out by HRD Asia, the company said that the worksites in the Washington state and Bay area in Calfornia along with the Silicon Valley Campus will be fully operational from February 28 onwards.
Chris Capossela, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Microsoft said in a statement, “From this date, employees will have 30 days to make adjustments to their routines and adopt the working preferences they’ve agreed upon with their managers.”
With an aim of ensuring the safety of the returning workers, Microsoft will be arranging local testing solutions in compliance with the government safety guidelines for the employers.
While welcoming the employees back to the offices, Chris added that the new and modern faculties will foster “inclusion, collaboration and community”. He further noted that in the coming days Microsoft will build up a growth mindset and give rise to One Microsoft strategy.
