Diamonds International names Marcus Griffin as Senior VP of HR
Diamonds International, a global jewelry manufacturer, and retailer, has announced the appointment of Marcus Griffin as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Griffin, who was recently working with Alfa Step One as the Chief People Officer, brings over 16 years of HR expertise. His core competencies include talent management and acquisition, diversity and inclusion, international HRM, employee engagement and relationship, leadership, recruitment, training, compensation and benefits.
In his previous roles, Marcus served Dufry Group as the Senior VP of HR, Flash Global as the Global VP of People Operations, and Mercury Engineering as the International HR Manager. He began his career in January 1996 as the Group Training & Development Manager at Aer Rianta International.
Assuming his new role, Marcus will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy. He will lead the HR team for talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, champion D&I initiatives, create an inclusive work environment, manage talent development initiatives and succession planning, boost employee engagement and talent retention, enhance performance evaluation and feedback processes, ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and HR industry best practices, and coordinate with senior leadership to provide strategic HR insights and consultation. Additionally, he will collaborate with external agencies to hire top-tier talent.
