Raffles Family Office appoints first deputy group CEO

Hong Kong-headquartered Raffles Family Office (RFO), an independent asset manager, has appointed William Chow as its first deputy Group Chief Executive Officer.

The company is expanding its C-suite team and the deputy CEO position is a newly created role.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2016, RFO has a presence in Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei and Singapore.

Currently based at RFO's headquarters in Hong Kong, Chow has also been appointed to RFO's board of management and investment committee, reports The Business Times. 

Chow joins RFO from China Life Franklin Asset Management, where he was deputy CEO and helped oversee the company's US$35 billion in assets under management, it adds.

Chow was a Group Managing Director at one of Asia's largest asset managers - Value Partners Group. He previously held senior roles at UBS, BlackRock and State Street Global Advisors.
