Tony Soh to succeed Melissa Kwee as new CEO of NVPC

Tony Soh will succeed Melissa Kwee as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) as part of the planned leadership succession. Kwee is stepping down as CEO of NVPC after eight years at the helm.

Soh’s appointment for the post will be effective from October 1, 2022. He is the current Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NVPC. The outgoing CEO Kwee will remain within the organisation’s leadership team supporting Soh in the strategic foresight and activation capacity.

Soh comes with experience as NVPC’s Deputy CEO for four years coupled with his rich tri-sector background serves as a strong foundation as he steps into his new role.

On his appointment, Soh said, “By capturing hearts and minds through our programmes and initiatives, I hope to work closely with our partners and the wider community to deepen the culture of other-centeredness in Singapore where the spirit of care can be felt every day and everywhere.”
