Padmanav Kundu has joined as the head of rewards at Malaysian airline AirAsia.

In his new role,  Kundu will lead and provide strategic direction to the development of pay, rewards and benefit philosophy and framework across all markets in AirAsia Group, in alignment to the business strategy.

A highly motivated and experienced senior professional with over 30 years of experience in human resource and business Finance, Kundu has been successfully formulating and delivering strategic direction to the businesses across domains of BFSI, HRO, BPO/KPO, Telecom, FMCG and Tyre Industry.

He has performed high impact roles in functions including people strategy, total rewards, HR transformation, benefits and  wellness, trust management, HR technology, HR operations and mobility

In his previous role, he was Director HR at NatWest Group in India.
