Qualtrics has announced the appointment of Michael Heitz as its new managing director for the Australia and New Zealand region. He would replace Jason Laufer, who was in the role until January 2021. In his new role, he would be tasked with leading Qualtrics’ operation across the region and expanding the company’s customer base.  

Qualtrics APJ Managing Director Brigid Archibald said, “Australia and New Zealand is one of the key markets for Qualtrics globally, and Michael’s appointment is key as we continue to scale our local operations in response to increasing customer demand.”

She also added that Michael is a world-class leader, and his expertise across industries, geographies, and the IT ecosystem will be a great asset to Qualtrics’ customers, employees, and partners.

Heitz’s career journey has taken him from Hitachi Vantara to Bosch, Citrix and Oracle in various leadership roles across the UK, Germany, South Korea and Australia. At Oracle, he was the Head of Digital Cloud for ANZ and the Pacific Islands.
