Shannon Shuemake named as ING’s Global Head of Talent and Learning
Last week, ING’s CHRO Ruth McGIll announced that Shannon Shuemake was appointed as ING’s Global Head of Talent and Learning.
She has over twenty years of experience in the industry. She started her career as an associate at ICF, where she worked for about 4 years. She has in the past worked at Victim Support,Sthree, GEICO, CEB and Refinitiv Global, which was acquired by LSEG in February 2021.
HSBC Singapore names Tancy Tan new COO
Earlier this week, Tancy Tan was named chief operating officer of HSBC Bank Singapore, starting February 21, according to a press announcement from the local unit of the British financial firm.
She will report to Wong Kee Joo, the chief executive of HSBC Singapore, on an entity level, and David Grimme, the chief operating officer of HSBC Asia-Pacific, on a functional level in her new job.
Intel appoints Christoph Schell as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Earlier this week, Intel Corporation appointed Christoph Schell as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer (CMO) to lead the Sales, Marketing and Communications Group (SMG), effective March 14.
Schell will succeed Michelle Johnston Holthaus, who will take on a new role as general manager of Intel’s Client Computing Group (CCG). Schell will become a member of the executive leadership team and will report directly to Gelsinger.
Schneider Electric appoints Olivier Blum as Executive Vice-President Energy Management
Yesterday, Schneider Electric appointed Olivier Blum as the new Executive Vice-President of its Energy Management Business, effective April 1, 2022.
Olivier, currently Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer at Schneider Electric, will retain his role as a member of the Company’s Executive Committee. This change follows the announcement of Philippe Delorme’s appointment as Executive Vice-President of Europe Operations at Schneider Electric.
Colliers appoints Catherine He as Head of Research for Singapore
Leading diversified professional services and investment management firm Colliers yesterday announced that Catherine He has been appointed as Director, Head of Research, Singapore.
A real estate research specialist, He will be responsible for leading the research capability for Singapore, working closely with external clients and internal stakeholders across multiple functions and service lines.
Reporting into WeiLeng Tang, Managing Director, Singapore, He will lead and further develop the local research capability with clear and ambitious targets for clients, producing strategic, rigorous and actionable research that integrates Colliers’ services across the region.
