Cloud data protection firm Druva to increase India headcount up to 1000 in 2 years
Cloud data protection and management firm Druva, Inc. announced the opening of its new facility in Pune, India, which will serve as a key innovation center focused on product development and support the company in reaching its goal of 1,000 employees in the region.
The new facility further expands Druva's footprint and provides a central location for supporting its global client base located across the US, Europe, and APAC.

The development center is a major step toward continuing our global expansion, strengthening our international reach, and positioning Druva to attract the best talent in the world. The aim is to expand India operations to a 1000 employees over the next two years. Currently, Druva has a team of 375 people in Pune across different functions. The firm may also consider a public offering next year if the conditions are conducive.
Backed by Sequoia Capital, Nexus Venture Partners , and Tenaya Capital, among others, Druva has so far raised $200 Mn in funding. Since the company's founding in 2008, Pune has remained the innovation hub for Druva. The new office signals a continued commitment to the region and will provide support for growing international demand.
